VENUE MANAGER - 4PEOPLE 

4People operate a hub of venues in Footscray in Melbourne's West. This role encompasses our bar spaces and is complemented by an established team of skilled staff. Responsible for the smooth operation of Back Alley Sally's and Slice Girls West, supported by our Duty Manager and Owners Group, there is solid scope to further develop and grow the businesses and your career into the future.

THE ROLE

Reports to : Owners Group

Oversees: 2 Bar areas (1 upstairs and one downstairs) + Slice Girls West Kitchen and our Cafe/General Store. (Single location, not multiple sites)

DUTIES

• Recruitment - Supervision, training and development of bar staff + creation & management of weekly staff rosters
• Manage weekly stock levels/incoming invoices/COGs
• Offer a high level of service to customers maintain this level of service through staff training + development
• Maintain and develop cocktail lists + bar menus
• Assist with preparing marketing & promotional material to send to the Social Media programmer weekly
• Monitor inhouse bookings and events and promote these to local community and beyond
• Understand and uphold Liquor Licensing Laws and regulations
• Collate and distribute reports to Owners on a weekly basis
• Facilitate Fortnightly meetings with Management and Owner/s
• Maintenance of quality and service standards
• Operation and balancing of cash register(s)
• Attendance/facilitation of quarterly OH + S meetings with other managers and owners

SKILLS + EXPERIENCE

• Preferred : Two year's previous experience in a supervisory role or one year in an assistant management position
• Must have a valid VIC RSA certificate
• A current FOOD SAFETY SUPERVISORS certificate will be highly regarded
